ABOUT THE EVENT

As a proud member of the Alliance for Period Supplies, we are joining a large network of independent period supply banks across the nation in collective action to draw attention to the issue of period poverty and the negative impact it has on people who menstruate.

Ma’i Movement Hawai’i is hosting our third annual statewide campaign, Mālama Your Maʻi, to build community support for our period supplies program, with the ultimate goal of building local resource streams to ensure program sustainability and raise awareness about period poverty in the community.

The campaign runs throughout the month of May, leading up to Period Poverty Awareness Week, May 22-28, 2023, and our first-ever in-person pau hana fundraiser on May 26th.
