Correctional Center
While Hawai’i law mandates sanitary products be provided for free to incarcerated people, menstruators still find themselves unable to manage their period needs. They earn as little as $0.07/hr and yet a box of tampons costs $7.59 in the commissary. We believe every individual has the right to manage their period with dignity, which is why we are committed to donating to correctional facilities around the islands. Check out who we’ve donated to so far.
Schools
Since 2020, bills have been introduced to make period products available for free to public secondary students grades 6th to 12th. Nothing has passed, but our fight continues and our work doesn’t stop. Check out the schools we’ve partnered with so far.
